Reading LogBasically, in 2017, I switched from a linear, one-book-at-a-time approach to a parallel approach in which I am simultaneously reading as many books at a time as I wish. I have discovered I like to have about 5-10 books of different types running at a time, for different moods and levels of fatigue. "On deck" means I already have them - they're on the shelf or in the Kindle. Asterisks are star ratings 1-5. If anything drops to a ** in progress, forget it. You'll never see a ** or * on the completed list. Well, maybe if it's some pivotal self-edification thing I forced myself to read for cultural literacy purposes.
